Funding for families
and children

Each year the Trust approves a range of grants for the benefit of the community, families, and children.

These grants go towards equipment to meet the needs of a child with a physical disability aged up to and including 21 years, activities
and assistance .

How do I apply for a grant?

Applications for the grant are made using the Grant Application Form and are supported by information from a relevant professional(s).

What is the decision based on?

The allocation of funding for children and their families is at the Trust’s discretion, is on a case by case basis, and is generally based on the following criteria:
  • The Trust’s available budget;
  • The number of grant applications received and anticipated;
  • Previous applications made by the family/caregiver;
  • The specific needs and situation.

The Trust will either make arrangements to pay the supplier directly or reimburse the relevant person upon the Trust sighting a receipt.
