What's On

On-line Art Programme - Winter and Nature

Week One:  The Colours and Shapes of Winter
Winter has many colours and shapes. Like the shape of a rainbow or a snowflake.... or even of a woolly hat. Using paints, pastels and collage let's use circles, lines, spirals and many more shapes to create an artwork about winter.

When:  Wednesday 13 July
Time: 10.30am to 12.00pm

Week Two:  Inside and Outside on a Stormy Day
It's lovely to be warm and cosy inside your house on a stormy winter's day while outside the wind is blowing and the rain is falling. Using paints and pastels we will create an artwork about the outside and the inside of a house in winter.

When:  Wednesday 20 July
Time:  10.30am to 12.00pm

Cost of both sessions is $5.00 and this includes art supplies that will be sent to you.

To ensure that you don't miss out and in order to receive the art pack in time, please register before 24 June. To register or for more information please contact Felicity at FelicityH@wilsonhometrust.org.nz or call 09 485 3461 / 0800 948 787.

The Women's Retreat - 25 to 27 February 2022

We held our Women’s Retreat Weekend at Vaughan Park Anglican Retreat and Conference Centre, Long Bay on 25 – 27 February.  It was a great success and was greatly enjoyed by all.

We just wanted to share some feedback from the mums.

“Great to bond with other mums on the same journey”.

“Helped to gain a little time to myself and bond with others and be creative”.

“I enjoyed every single little bit of it, the activities, the interaction with wonderful and like-minded people”.

We have been asked to make it a regular event for mums, grandmothers or caregivers. We have already booked the same venue for next year - Friday 17 March to Sunday 19 March 2023.  If you are interested in attending, please contact Felicity on 09 485 3461 or email her at felicityh@wilsonhometrust.org.nz
